Daily Drawing 66: Soaking Up Sun!
I might be a lizard. I absolutely love basking in the sun and I am not usually phased by heat. Even when living in Arizona, where temperatures were 120 degrees in the summer, I didn’t mind too much.
I delivered for UPS out there and sure it was hot, but the sun was out all the time. I’d rather do a job like that in hot conditions than bitter cold and dark conditions.
It was definitely a trade off moving back to Michigan with cold cloudy days, but there is green and growing things everywhere here and my wife in particular loves the trees, lakes and life (and so do I).
I was sitting at a window in a coffee shop this morning when I drew today’s drawing and the sun was really getting magnified in the window. I definitely felt like this croc basking in the sun…it eventually got to be too much. Even lizards have their limits 😅
